A discredited administration, with no clear sense of direction
and a ridiculed leader, it suffered record mid-term reverses both
at the hands of a vengeful electorate and in the opinion polls.
Without a majority in the legislature, it remains a government in
office but not in power, and will no doubt stagger on to
inevitable extinction in two years' time -- but at what cost to
the country? Right, that's enough about British politics - on
with the games...
