World Dip Con this year returned to antipodean climes, taking place at the Coogee Bay Hotel, Sydney, over the weekend of Saturday 1st to Monday 3rd October 2011. It was hosted by The Diplomacy Association of Australia and New Zealand (DAANZ), and further details (including the results) can be found on their website at http://www.daanz.org.au/wdc2011/index.php. Australian WDCs tend to be a bit smaller than their equivalents in the northern hemisphere, but (possibly even as a result of this) tend to be highly competative.

Next year, the 2012 World Dip Con is being held as part of the Weasel Moot VI event at the Congress Hotel in Chicago, over the weekend of Friday 10th to Sunday 12th August 2012, being hosted by the Windy City Weasels. Their website is http://windycityweasels.org/wdc. This is likely to be combined with the North American Dipcon, although this is still to be finally confirmed.
