NIGHTSPOT ROLE FOR DOG SACKED BY RAF :

A dog sacked by the Royal Air Force for not being sufficiently aggresive has taken up a new post at a Sunderland night club. Lex the German Shepherd will give patrons of the "Nite Klub" nightclub the once-over with his super-sensitive nostrils. Handler Sandra Woods said although he was not aggressive enough for the RAF, he had been trained to sniff out drugs. "This is an historic development -- we believe he is the first night club sniffer dog in Europe," Ms. Woods said.
